Description

The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV, is seeking a qualified organization capable of providing Parenting Education instruction to the female inmate population. The contractor shall perform 2 components, the first being the Education component for an estimated 208 (3 hour) sessions which will consist of parenting skills training workshops in various subjects (family nutrition, self-esteem, coping skills, domestic assistance, budgeting and children's center workers training). The second component will be the visiting room children's center practical activity component, which shall be an estimated 104 (6 hour) sessions. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price non-personal services requirements contract to the responsive and responsible offeror meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work. The period of performance shall be from date of award through September 30, 2004, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise one (1) option year. This solicitation will be available on or after August 6, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site @http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be availble. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. The estimated date for receipt of offers is September 9, 2003.
