Description

This project is for the contractor to provide all professional services, labor, and materials, and travel to detail as built drawings, fabricate, transport and install exhibits for the Information Center at Mount Rushmore National Memorial.Work shall be in accordance with drawings, plan books and specifications. It will be the responsiblity to make any determination of the elements of fabricaton. For purposes of this contract "Exhibit" is defined as including, but not limited to, any one of the following or combination thereof: display cases, exhibit panels, platforms, information desks, cabinets for visitor-glass or plexiglas barriers, screen printed labels and graphics, photographs, photo murals, display transparancies, etched or sandblasted metal, plastic or glass plaques, dimensional maps and displays, artifact munts, interior signage, menu and bulletin boards. The purpose of this contract is to provide all materials, labor and equiment to fabricate and install exhibit elements for the Information Center at Mount Rushmore National Mememorial. Award of this contract will be in accordance with the Small Business Competitveness Demonstration Program (Public Law 100-656). This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Estimated Price Range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS:238990, P&S:9999.This solicitation will be available ONLY by connecting with the DOI Website at (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) NO PAPER COPIES will be mailed. This solicitation will be available O/A August 11, 2003 and will close O/A September 10, 2003 at 3:00 PM MT unless extensions are issued in an amendment.This is an evaluated procurement to determine Best Value and contractor will be evaluated on Price, Technical, similar experience, quality of fabrication techniques, warranty of work, key personnel, detail and timeline of work plan and installation schedule,training (maintenance and care of exhibits).
