- *********ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to remodel the men?s restroom at the Billiken Training Center / Theater at USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK. Work consists of adding an alternate, ?unisex? or ?family-accessible? toilet room capability to the existing men?s room while not decreasing the existing number of fixtures. Existing fixtures will be replaced, new partitions installed, and a fresh coat of paint applied. Contract dollar amount is estimated to be under $50,000. The proposed contract is a small business set aside. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. Materials, workmanship, and installation shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None. Performance Period is: 90 days after award. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer?s catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: Underwriter?s Laboratories (UL), State of Alaska Administrative Codes, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards; Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), ANSI Standards, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), MIL SPEC, FED STD, and applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 18, 2003. A SITE VISIT will not be held. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is UNDER $50,000.
