- Description
- ISSUE DATE: 7/29/2003. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment to maintain, inspect, and repair the water filtration system at U. S. Coast Guard Station, Jonesport, Maine. The contractor shall have a minimum of five (05) years in operation of similar water filtration systems and shall be a State of Maine licensed (Class IV) operator and have a computer capability of data retrieval via the internet. Period of performance is from October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004 with four pre-priced option years, subject to availability of funds. This is best value procurement. Price and past performance will be evaluated equally. Quoters are requested to submit a list (3) of similarly completed projects including description, name and address with contact names and telephone numbers. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 12 August 2003. The date for receipt of proposals is on or about 11 September 2003 at 4:00 pm local time. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code is 221310. SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS (FAR 52.232-18 APR 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until such funds are made available to the Contracting officer for this contract and until the contractor receives such notice of availability to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Check the website periodically for amendments once solicitation is issued.
