- Description
- The Wayne National Forest anticipates contracting for the Snake Hollow Watershed Restoration in Athens County, Ohio, on a Best Value basis. The work involves the remediation of various abandoned mine subsidences entailing temporary road construction, removal of brush, trees, and miscellaneous debris, stream construction/reconstruction, erosion control measures,compaction of stone, placement of geotextile matting, etc. as defined in the specifications. The government estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and the time for performance is 180 calendar days. The solicitation and drawings will be posted approximately August 12, 2003.
