- Description
- Negotiations will be conducted with the University of Michigan, Survey Research Center and CDC, National Center for Health Statistics to develop methods for combining information from multiple surveys to improve on analyses of self-reported data. The methods and results produced by this project will improve the information available on the prevalence?s of obesity, diabetes and hypertension, as well as disparities in these prevalence?s. Dr. Trivellore E. Raghunthan, Senior Research Scientist in the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan will conduct these tasks. Dr. Raghunthan is an internationally known expert on multiple imputation and has developed IVEware, a publicly accessible computer package to perform multiple imputation.
