- NA Specifications for Dredge Suction Hose 1. 38 inch inside diameter by 20 foot 10 inch long. 2. Will be at least 1 inch gum tube polyester cord reinforced 18 ply rubber. 3. Double wire reinforced with at least 3/8 inch wire on the inner layer and outer layer. 4. Will also need to supply 300 psi built in rubber lined steel nipples with flanges, the flanges will be built as follows: 45 inch outside diameter by 1 1/4 inches thick with 32 holes in each flange. The 32 holes will be 1 3/8 inch in diameter and gaskets shall be 1/4 inch thick and built on the flanges. 5. The hose shall also have an ozone resistant cover with inlaid identification braid.
