Small Business Set-Aside: N/A
Description: Drill a new well at Agate Fossil Beds Monument at the Hoffman House Area. The new well will be located between 150 feet and 250 feet west of the current well. The new well will hook into the current plumbing system at the existing house. All electrical and plumbing connections will be supplied and completed by the contractor. The new well will be drilled to a depth to eliminate any surface water and contamination. Estimated well depth will be between 200 and 300 feet. The new well will meet all applicable state and federal regulations. The contractor will install a pressure control system (either a pitiless adaptor or pressure tank) that will provide a minimum of 60 pounds per square inch (psi) and a minumum of 20 gallons per minute flow a 60 psi at the well house. All electrical, plumbing, pressure tank and pump will be provided by the contractor. Target completion date October 1, 2003. The present will will be left in service and used for fire protection for the Hoffman House area. all materials and labor for making conneciton to fire protection and irrigation will be completed by Agate Fossil Beds maintenance staff.theAward of this contract will be in accordance with the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program (Public Law 100-656). Solicitation will be issued O/A August 12,2003 and close O/A September 11,2003 unless extensions are issued in an amendment. This project is subject to the Davis Bacon Act. Estimated price range for this project is under $25,000. NAICS:235810, P&S F015.
