Description

General - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q8780030010 and is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This solicitation falls under NAICS Code 423830, with a size standard of 500 employees, and is set aside for small businesses only. The Government is seeking quotations for lift station pumps to be delivered FOB Destination to American Memorial Park, Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands, as follows: Two sets of duplex Aurora Model 632 or equal, centrifugal sewage pumps, size 4 X 4 X 7, all iron construction with type 316 stainless steel shafts, bronze pump and line shaft bearings, 6' - 8" pump setting, 1-1/2 hp TEFC motors, standard pump mounting oval plates, galvanized prior to factory assembly, NEMA 4 pump control switches, and two sets of stainless steel floats, rods and float stops. Pumps should include each 46" square ?" thick galvanized steel sump cover, and duplex pump controller with high and low water level alarms and contacts for telemetry, all in NEMA 4X enclosure. Each pump shall also include an automated grease system, compatible with the Aurora pump. Contractor shall provide a unit price for each pump, complete, as described above. Delivery of pumps: F.O.B. Destination to American Memorial Park, Saipan, MP 96950 by October 30, 2003. This may be on company letterhead stationary and should reference the solicitation number. Include proposed delivery time with your quotation. Specification sheets of proposed pump should be included with quotation, also. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation -Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses listed in that clause are applicable: 52.212-21, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-34 and 52.247-64. The Government will evaluate the quotations based on technical specifications, delivery date and price.
