Description

Anticipated construction work under solicitation number N62742-03-B-1424, SPECIAL PROJECT R13-03, RESTORE FUELING CAPABILITIES AT BRAVO 22-26, FLEET AND INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CENTER, PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII will include demolition and new construction work. The demolition work will consist of removing and disposing 300 mm, 250 mm, and 150 mm F-76 fuel piping system from VC-20 to riser station number 1 at Bravo Dock, B-22; 100 mm and 150 mm fuel risers; fuel pier valves and sectional valves; steel catwalk; and catchment basins. The new construction work will be to provide 300 mm F-76 fuel piping; 100 mm and 150 mm fuel risers; pier and sectional valves; catwalk; catchment basins; electrical conduit; permanent oil spill barrier system; and other incidental work as prescribed in NAVFAC specification number 40-03-1424. This procurement is unrestricted. The estimated price range for anticipated construction work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, and the construction performance period will be 365 calendar days. A site visit will be scheduled approximately three weeks after the invitation for bid (IFB) or solicitation has been issued. The IFB information, which will also include the project?s specifications and drawings, will be inserted in a compact disk (CD) and the anticipated unit price of each CD is $67.92. Send requests to Document Automation and Production Service (DAPS), Building 550, Pearl Harbor Naval Base. Checks will be payable to Superintendent of Documents. If company?s VISA, Mastercard, or Discover?s card is used, requests may be faxed to (808) 473-2604. Include the following information with faxed request: cardholder?s name, account number, and expiration date with company?s name, mailing address, telephone number, facsimile number, IFB number, project title, whether solicitation will be picked up at the Contracting Office, and indicate if requestor is a prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier. Allow ten days for CD delivery from date of request. There is no guarantee that requestor will receive a CD prior to bid opening. Companies using air express service must furnish their express service air bill label with the recipient?s name, telephone number, company name, address, company?s account number, and type of delivery information complete and filled in. For international firms, provide international air bill and invoice completely filled out. Failure to provide any of the above information may delay processing of request at no fault of the Government. A planholders list will be available after the solicitation is issued and may be obtained at https://www.pacific.daps.dla.mil. However, note that the DAPS planholders list may not be all-inclusive. All planholders must register at http://www.e-sol.navfac.navy.mil in order to receive e-mail notices that an amendment was published and to download amendments of solicitation from E-SOL. Said E-SOL web site is the only method to alert planholders of changes to solicitation. It is therefore the responsibility of the bidder to create an account at said E-SOL web site and periodically check the solicitation to see if there were any amendments to said solicitation.
