- 17. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation N00024-03-R-4401 for advance planning and accomplishment of the Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availabilities/Non Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availabilities for DDG 51 CLASS ships, homeported in the Norfolk, Virginia and Mayport, Florida regions. The DSRAs/SRAs include planning, document preparation, engineering, procurement, prefabrication, shipyard production work and any other work necessary to prepare for and accomplish the DSRA/SRA. Place of Performance is restricted to the ships homeports of Norfolk, VA and Mayport, FL. A cost plus incentive fee contract with award fee provisions is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued and posted electronically on or about 13 August 2003 at the following Web site http://www.eps.gov/ where it may be found under its solicitation number. The tentative due date for receipt of proposals is 14 October 2003.
