Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport, Rhode Island intends to issue a fixed price Purchase Order to Ametek/ROTRON on a sole source basis. NUWC requires three (3) Heat exchanger/Fan Assemblies Ametek P/N 1948-02. The required units were designed by Ametek ROTRON on a previous Government contract to meet the unique requirements of SSGN and SSBN submarines. The current requirement is for units to be put in a NUWC Common Submarine Radio Room that must be configured identically to the SSGN and SSBN requirements. As the designer and sole distributor, Ametek is the only supplier who can satisfy this requirement. NAICS: 335999. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
