Description

The subject solicitation is re-opened with a new response date and time of 01 August 2003, 12:00 PM (local time) to allow the incorporation of the following additional specifications/requirements: 1) Contractor shall provide a certified factory trained representative to perform on-site training for Government personnel at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). Instructions shall be given in the proper and safe operation of the load bank. 2) An operational test @ 100% capacity, shall be conducted and witnessed by a Government representative on-site at NNSY prior to final acceptance. Test shall hold load bank at 100% capacity for four (4) hours. Contractors are requested to provide their own power source for this test. In the event that this cannot be achieved, contractor shall clearly identify this exception in their offer. 3) Four (4) sets of design drawings, parts manuals (including maintenance and operational instructions) shall be provided with each unit. 4) Units shall be supplied with a one (1) yr warranty on all parts and components (including OEM goods). 5) Contractor shall provide technical assistance and support for questions concerning operation, training, parts and replacement. Contractor shall have the ability to respond to emergency trouble call within 24 hours notification. ALL PARTIES HAVING ALREADY SUBMITTED AN OFFER PRIOR TO THIS MODIFICATION, MUST ADVISE THIS OFFICE, IN WRITING, THE EFFECT THIS NOTICE HAS ON THEIR ORIGINAL OFFER.
