Description

Snow Removal Service, B. H. Whipple Federal Building, 1 Federal Drive, Ft. Snelling, MN 55111. This project involves the removal of ice and snow as required. All snow and ice shall be removed from entrances, steps, landings, sidewalks, driveways, plaza areas, roadways, parking areas, handicapped accessibility areas, evacuation pathways, and approaches. The successful contractor shall provide the management, supervision, manpower, equipment (including heavy equipment and snow shovels) to provide plowing and removal of snow and ice from the Fort Snelling Federal Building and Parking Garage. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561790 with size standard of $6 million. The performance period is a 7-month base and four 7-month options. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about August 13, 2003. This procurement is open to all business concerns. This solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be AVAILABLE VIA THE INTERNET ONLY. No hard copies will be mailed.
