- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F5SVRA31830700. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The NAICS code is 235520 and the size standard is $11M. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. There are two line items to surface floor in facility 10260 as follows: 1)Surface floor in facility 10260, room 112 using Silikal or equal resin products. This is the Automotive Skills Development Center service bay; approximately 4,500 square feet. Contractor shall: 1. Shot-blast entire area 2. Diamond grind around equipment and 6 inches from walls to remove contaminates 3. Route open and grout back in all cracks in excess of 1/8” 4. Prime floor two times with R-71 Silikal or equal Primer w/I-Component additive 5. Trowel on a 3/16” slurry to retain a broadcast of R-61 Silikal or equal non-skid medium. 6. Apply two seal coats of R-71 Silikal or equal. Sand between coats to achieve the required texture. 7. Finished color is to be P4 Red. 2) Surface floor in facility 10260, room 110 using Silikal or equal resin products. This is the Automotive Skills Development Center machine room; approximately 1,000 square feet. Contractor shall: 1. Shot-blast entire area. 2. Diamond grind around equipment and 6 inches from walls to remove contaminates. 3. Route open and grout back in all cracks in excess of 1/8”. 4. Prime floor two times with R-71 Silikal Primer w/I-Component additive. 5. Trowel on a 3/16” slurry to retain a broadcast of R-61 Silikal non-skid medium. 6. Apply two seal coats of R-71 Silikal. Sand between coats to achieve the required texture. 7. Finished color to be determined upon award of contract. Contractor shall provide all necessary work to properly prepare site and install equipment The provisions at FAR 52.212-1. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Mar 2000) apply to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items, (Jan 1999), apply to this acquisition. Para a of the clause is completed as follows: (i) price and (ii) conformance to the above specifications shall be used to evaluate offers. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 -- Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, (Feb 2000).
