- This purpose of this notice is to perform a Timber Stand Improvement and Tree Thinning project for approximately 184 acres, involving selection of trees meeting certain criteria and clearing competing vegetation within a specified clearing radius. The project will take place in the Wasatch County within the Heber Ranger District in the Uinta National Forest. The approximate posting date for the solicitation will be the 5th of August 2003 to this same website. For those interested in the project, there will be a show-me / site tour scheduled for 12 August 2003 at 9:00 a.m. Meet at the Heber Ranger District. If you plan on attending, please notify the Contracting Officer. Project anticipated to start work on 2 September 2003. *****
