Description

The work involves construction services to the Batesville Job Corps Center for the implementation of energy conservation measures at various buildings. The work will include: Up-grading the existing T12 lighting system to T8 flourescent lamps; converting the lighting to a high efficiency system inclusive of replacing lenses, and cleaning reflectors; replacing the incandescent exit signs to Light Emitting Diode (LED) exit signs with a self-contained battery; replacing incandescent lamps with compact flourescent lamps (CFL) in the recreation building; installing occupancy sensors where appropriate to control lights in common areas; installing photo-sensor cells to control outdoor lighting; installing a heat exchanger on the water heater in building #2 Cafeteria/Culinary Art; installing faucet aerators in the dorms; and installing/replacing toilets, urinals valves and shower heads for water conservation. All bidders must do a Walk-through of the Center. All Bidders must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act.
