- Description
- The FAA, New England Region, currently has a requirement for the installation of new Government furnished HVAC systems at the ASR-9 Radar site located at Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT , and ASR-9 Radar site located in Cummington, MA. The work at both sites will involve, but is not limited to, the demolition (remove and dispose) of three existing A/C units and existing duct work and the installation of two (2) 20-ton Rooftop Air Conditioning Units with associated duct work. Performance period is 60 calendar days at each facility after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00 for each facility. This requirement is set-aside for Small Businesses. NAIC code is 23511 - $11.5M. The Government anticipates making a single or multiple award for this solicitation. Offerors may submit an offer on one or both locations. Contractor must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the installation of and removal of HVAC units. Solicitation packages will be available on or about August 6, 2003. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee required for this solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration.
