- Description
- Machine will be used to wash contaminated firefighting turnout gear. This is a requirement in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association 1500. No preference on model numbers, but must meet the following criteria: Front loading, stainless steel tub, water temperature greater than 130 degrees F, programmed cycle to decontaminate the tub after the cleaning of contaminated protective clothing and station/work uniforms. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for very small business concerns under NAICS code 333312. If there is no fair and reasonable offer received from a very small business concern, the acquisition for very small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition will be set-aside for small business. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
