- Description
- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking potential sources capable of providing a Mid Infrared Imaging Radiometer and Radiometric Software tools. The AFFTC has a requirement for the following: (a) A Mid Infrared system consisting of a Mid Infrared camera (spectral sensitivity in the 3-5 micron range), a Tri-Focal Lens (coated for peak transmissivity in the 3-5 micron range) with focal lengths of 60mm, 180mm, and 500mm, a rack mount processing system with a keyboard/monitor, and set of radiometric software tools, all integrated together as a functional system and (b) A Far Infrared radiometric system consisting of a rack mount processing system with a keyboard/monitor and extensive set of radiometric software tools. The Far Infrared system must be integrated with an existing FLIR Systems SC-2000 Far Infrared Radiometer System. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334511 and the Small Business size standard is 750 employees. It is anticipated that a fixed price contract will be awarded. Contract award is estimated to take place August 2003. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the supplies requested above. Firms responding must identify their company's capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, business size and category (i.e. SB, SDB, WO, etc.).
