- Description
- This is a design build project. Work consists of but is not limited to: a final design, furnishing all, plant, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous requirements needed to perform all operations in conjunction with the effort to remove an old and install a new air-conditioning system at the Engine Shop Hangar, Fac 185, at Homestead ARB, FL 33039-1299. All work required by the plans and specifications and final approved design, shall be accomplished by the contractor even though minor items required may not be specifically mentioned in the above listing. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP); award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable proposal. There will be no public proposal opening. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The proposed contract herein is restricted to all qualified HUBZONE certified small business concerns. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The closing date will be on or about Aug 21, 2003 at 4:00pm, for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package. Request for the solicitation package will only be honored by e-mail or facsimile. Prospective offerors shall submit the request to Mr. Luis F Chaves, e-mail: luis.chaves@homestead.af.mil and a courtesy copy to Gwendolyn Rackley at gwendolyn.rackley@homestead.af.mil, for inclusion on the vendor list or via facsimile (305) 224-7055. NOTE: the request must include: company name, address, including your zip plus four number, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, point of contact and identify if they have other designated size standards besides HUBZONE (i.e. Woman Owned, 8(a), Disabled Veteran: The response date cited above is an estimate, not an actual. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
