- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to remove rubber and paint from the airfield, at McConnell AFB, KS 67221. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Removal of existing airfield paint and markings and removal of rubber deposits from runways. Painting airfield and taxiway striping and markings. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This will be awarded unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package which should be on or about 6 Aug 2003 and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and drawings. Potential offerors MUST register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the Central Contractor registration (CCR) at web site http://www.ccr.gov. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS RFP BEFORE OR AFTER THE RFP CLOSING DATE. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
