Description

Work shall include the following but not limited to: Earthwork for structures and pavement; excavation, backfilling and compacting for utilities; removal of asbestos fireproofing in existing manholes. Replace existing with new and provide additional primary and secondary electrical cable, pad-mounted transformer and substation swithboards with concrete base. Provide cable junction pedestal and cable junctions. Provide secondary building circuit breakes, conduit and cable, and grounding system and connect to existing building panelboards. Remove and replant existing bushed and small trees. The magnitude is between $500,000 (?67,720,050) - $1,000,000(?135,440,100). This solicitation is unrestricted, but awards can only be made to firms licensed and authorized to perform in the country of Japan (DFARS 252.225-7042, Authorization to Perform). This solicitation will be available on or about 22 Jul 03. Performance period shall be 475 calendar days.
