- NA The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to Repair Aircraft Ramp at the 165th Airlift Wing, SAV IAP, Savannah, Georgia. Project No. XDQU002048. This project consists of pavement repai rs on the aircraft ramp of the 165th Airlift Wing at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Savannah, Georgia. The majority of the repair work is comprised of repairs of corner and edge spalls and to a lesser extent, full depth patching and slab replacement (approximately 1000 SY). Some minor joint repair is required. Materials for spall and popout repairs shall be PaveMend, ABC Cement, DellPatch, or approved equal. The Contractor is encouraged, but not required, to use various products for the spall repairs for material performance comparison purposes. The project consists of Base Bid Work Items and an Additive Bid Item (ABI#1). The ABI consists of the additional slab replacements of approximately 350 square yards. The estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 to $250,000. The total construction performance 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated solicitation issue date 25 July 2003. Estimated proposal closing date 4 Sep 2003 at 4:00 pm. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The contract will be awarded under Source Selection procedures specified in the solicitation. Evaluation factors include price, Past Performance and Technical requirements to include, but not limited to, the proposed work schedule in CPM format. This project is being procured on an UNRESTRICTED basis in accordance with the Competiveness Demonstration Program, however, small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, HUBZONE Small busi nesses, small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to participate. The HUBZONE preference IAW FAR 19.1307 applies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234110 and the Size Standard for Small Businesses is $28.5 million ann ual receipts for the past 3 years. The solicitation package will be issued via the web only. All amendments, site visit minutes and questions will be posted on the web. There is no charge for the solicitation, plans and specifications, which will be ava ilable at the following internet site: http://www.starc.dod.state.ga.us/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. All contractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at the site. Prime contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration at: http://www.ccr.com to be eligible for award. There will be a Pre-proposal conference tentatively scheduled for 19 Aug 2003 at 10:00. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and should contact USPFO for Georgia Contracting Office at: Oliver.gills@ga.ngb.army.mil via e mail not later than 15 August 2003 for clearance at the main gate.
