Description

NA The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, OK intends to enter into a sole source purchase with The Oklahoma Alliance for Manufacturing Excellence using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for 30 each, one (1) day LEAN 101 training sessions under license agreement with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Interested firms able to meet these requirments are invited to submit responses by July 29, 2003, but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to email address: stephen.dunbar @us.army.mil or regular mail to: Contracting Office, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, ATTN SJMMC-PC S DUNBAR, 1 C Tree Road, McAlester, OK 74501-9002. Responses must include, at a minimum, how the contractor proposes to meet the requirements herein. Wri tten responses must include technical information sufficient to enable the Government to determine if the vendor can meet the Government's needs. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals received in response to this notice. If no affirmat ive responses are received by July 29, 2003 clearly demonstrating a vendor's ability to meet the Government's needs, a sole source purchase order will be issued to The Oklahoma Alliance for Manufacturing Excellence. All vendors who provide goods and servi ces to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
