Description

The work includes providing and installing a new UPS system, which would supply uninterrupted backup power to key equipment at Naval Satellite Operations Detachment Alpha, Prospect Harbor, Maine. The system will consist of Powerware 9330-28KW 40-kva UPS system, the appropriate monitoring software, three battery banks, LCD monitoring panel, RS 232 and 485 communication ports and a Powerware Proactive Service Plan. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS CONTRACT, NO OTHER PRODCUT/SERVICE WILL BE ACCEPTABLE. ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. QUOTES ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Replies to this notice are requested from NAICS 23531, Electrical Contractors. The issuing office for this solicitation is Officer in Charge of Construction, NAVFAC Contracts, P. O.
