- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL intends to solicit the University of South Florida (USF), Center for Robot Assisted Search and Rescue (CRASAR), 4202 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL 33620-5399, on a Sole Source basis for the expansion of the USF-CRASAR research in one particular area: The development of a distributed control architecture for groups of autonomous vehicles. This research effort will run concurrently with the Naval Automation and Information Management Technology (NAIMT) Program and utilize the NAIMT research results. NAIMT is a joint research effort between CSS, USF-CRASAR, and the University of West Florida?s Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (UWF_IHMC). UWF_IHMC, the only other potential source, does not have the expertise in this area. Delivery will be to Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. NAICS Code is 541710.
