- The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award an unrestricted contract. Solicitation N00604-03-T-B034. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; WRITTEN PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUIRED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION will not be issued. Proposals must include a completed Representations and Certifications (FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this synopsis, which shall be considered. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2001-14 and DFARS Change Notice 20030620. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the following: ITEM CLIN 0001, Sodium Chloride Crystals, Rock salt, Extra Coarse, 1/4" Mesh Size Water Softener Grade, 99% PURE (NOT for deicing use). Delivery to be as follows CLIN 0001AA: 1" Super Sack, 1 Ton Deliver 1 Bag Each Tuesday at 10:00 AM, Total of 52 Bags. CLIN 0001AB 50 lb Bag Deliver 49 Bags each Tuesday at 9:00 AM, Total of 2,548 Bags. Contractor to provide a quotation matching the above requirement for option years, CLIN 1001, CLIN 2001, CLIN 3001 and CLIN 4001. As a result, the government includes FAR clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. Contractor to quote delivery FOB: Destination Bldg 287, Red Hill, Halawa Valley, Hawaii. Contractor to call 2 hours prior to scheduled delivery. Offeror to submit with quota current MSDS information. The FSC code is 6810. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 325998 and 500 employees respectively. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Due to delivery schedule, it is imperative that the delivering contractor be located on island. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to be eligible for Department of Defense Contract awards. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote.
