- Description
- The 311 HSW/YASK intends to issue solicitation F41624-03-R-1106 for NET, CARGO AERIAL DELIVERY. MIL-C-7554E, National Stock Number (NSN) 1670-00-248-9975MH, Part Number MIL-C-7554E. FSCM: 01339, Relative NAICS code 314991. The purpose of the solicitation will be to award a three-year, firm fixed price requirements type contract, to include a (1) one-year base period with Best Estimate Quantity (BEQ) of 68 (2) one year priced option periods with 9 each BEQ. Two year priced option periods with 5 each BEQ. FMS included. Best Estimate Quantity is 82 each. Size/Dimensions: Net, type A-10 shall be square approximately 9 feet on a side with 3-1/2 inch diamond mesh 1-3/4 inches per side. Predominate Material: Net, type A-10 shall be fabricated of nylon cord. The mesh shall be formed using the bowline knot only in securing cords so there will be no slippage at the point of joining. The use of cord in less than 5-foot lengths shall not be permitted. Color of the cord shall be Olive Drab. Net, type A-10 capacity is 300 pounds. Automatic machines may be used to generate any of the stitched patterns. FOB: Origin. Responses should be submitted no later than 30 days after synopsis appears. Please note that telephone requests will not be honored. Only e-mail, written or faxed request received directly from the requestor are acceptable. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
