Description

The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL plans to award a Firm-Fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335911, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The reference number is F3LGRD31960400, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This requirement is for 16-each, Battery, M210210511N, Champion maintenance free, 24VDC, connectors must be Red Anderson Power Products, 175A, 600V, with lead extension of 2’9”. Batteries must work with Battery charger model #SCR100-12-600TI. It must have a rating of at least 500AH. Battery dimensions are: 2’ 6-3/4 long, 1’ 7/8” wide, 1’3 ½’ high in order to fit existing trucks. Contractor is required to dispose of Agency’s old batteries. The batteries are to be delivered FOB Destination at Eglin AFB, Florida, 7 weeks after award of contract. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
