Description

Build out a new Carrier Annex Postal Facility, Delray Beach, FL located at 855 NW 17th Avenue. The building contains approximately 14,999 sq ft of floor space. The work includes, but is not limited to, concrete, carpentry, modified bitumen roofing, insulation, hollow metal doors, metal studs, gyp board, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, vinyl composition tile flooring, carpet, painting, store fixtures, landscaping, electrical, mechanical, utilities and other work associated with postal facilities. Reference is made to Clause B-38, Accident Prevention. All construction work on projects must be performed in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1970. If the USPS is fined for OSHA violations caused by the contractor, the contractor shall pay the fine or reimburse the USPS for the amount of the fine. Cost range: $1,075,650 - $1,330,000 Construction time: 275 The subcontracting goals for this contract is a minimum of 10% for minority-owned businesses, a minimum of 40% small business enterprises and minimum of 7% for women-owned businesses in accordance with solicitation Section H. 19.
