Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Training Center at Yorktown, VA is soliciting quotes for dry-docking and repair to Utility Boat CG 41484. The solicitation and specifications are available by faxing a request to 757 856 2126. This solicitation is geographically restricted to facilities on a navigable waterway within 30 miles of the Coast Guard Training Center. Quotes will be due around August 25, 2003. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform dry-dock repairs including but not limited to the following Items: (1) Routine Dry-docking; (2) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tank; (3) Renew Cabin and Pilot House; (4) Inspect and Preserve Cabin Top; (5) Remove and Reinstall Cabin Top Windows; (6) Preserve Cabin Top Exterior; (7) Renew Zinc Anodes (8) Preserve Underwater Body; (9) Preserve Underwater Body; (10) Preserve Freeboard; (11) Inspect Keel; (12) Preserve freeboard. The performance period is twenty-five (25) calendar days. (2) The estimate cost is between $25,000 and $100, 000.
