- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ); a written solicitation will not be issued. The Food and Drug is soliciting for removal of existing deteriorated corridor (walkway) roofing system, including BUR, drains scuppers, deck repair and install new Modified Bitumen Roofing system as described in the project manual. This procurement is set aside for Small Business, firm fixed price requirement. SCOPE OF WORK- the contract shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation to perform roofing work at the NCTR facility. Work includes replacement roofs at corridors 58-50E and canopy, 58-54S and 58-62W. Prospective offerors may acquire project manual by contacting Sharon Norful, as noted below, NLT August 8, 2003, 4:00pm local prevailing time. Interested offeror?s shall submit a descriptive literature along with their cost quotation. Award will be made to the vendor who submits the lowest price system that meets all technical specifications. The Government may make its decision on the basis of initial quotations received and not have discussions. Therefore each initial quotation should contain the offeror?s best terms from both a price and technical standpoint. This is Request for Quotation (RFQ).
