Description

The 38 EIG/PKK has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Recruiters located in FT Dodge IA. The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by the Iowa Public Utilities shall provide local commercial communications service for 343 RCS/RSSL Offutt AFB NE (Site IA). Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, directory number and number portability, emergency 9-1-1 service, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Quote (RFQ), offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. The Basic Agreement documents may be viewed and downloaded from the 38 EIG website address http://www-ext.tinker.af.mil/38eig/pk/pkk/Bizopps/bizopps.asp. This site is a secure site and requires a browser which supports a secure socket layer for access. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
