Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1A52231890500 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This solicitation is Unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 334220. To qualify for a small business for this acquisition the size standard is 750 employees or less. Hurlburt Field intends to have a contractor furnish the following item: TC-150M Multi-Band Power Amplifier, 30-512MHZ, Continuous Duty Cycle, Amplification 50 Watt in LOS, 100 Watt SATCOM, MIL-STD-188-181A & MIL-STD-188-182A & MIL-STD-188-183A Compliant, 24 VDC Input Power; Quantity 50 Each. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications. If the item is on GSA Contract please list the contract number. Please state number of days for delivery in your proposal. Place of delivery shall be HQ AFSOC/SCCS, Hurlburt Field Florida 32544. The following clauses and provisions are hereby incorporated either by reference or full text and are to remain in full force and effect in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (OCT 2000) addenda to read FAR and DFAR clauses and provisions can be located via the Internet at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Quotations may be faxed to (850) 884-5372 or mailed to: Department of the Air Force, 16 CONS/LGCY, Attn: Twila K. Beasley, 350 Tully Street, PO Box 9190, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-9190 at or before 1600 (4:00 PM) Central Standard Time, 07 August 2003. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. The Government reserves the right to evaluate quotations and award a contract without discussions with offerors. FAR 52.212-2 (Jan 1999), Evaluation-Commercial Items is included. The evaluation factors for award will be price and past performance. Both factors considered, past performance will be considered significantly less important than price. Each offeror should include with the proposal, recent and relevant information for similar contracts performed within the past 3 years. Information should include: point of contact with phone number and FAX number, dollar amount of award and contract number. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (July 2002) and 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (Nov 1995) with the quotation.
