Description

Project No. LXEZ 00-1918, Replace Fire Main, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of leaking fire suppression main line which supplies four hangars and a warehouse with water for fire suppression; and replacement of all valves and underground piping in this system and incidental related works necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications. NOTE 1: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The US Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. NOTE 2: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED AND AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE INVITED TO DOWNLOAD INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PROJECT. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-JUN-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 31-JUL-2003.
