Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to issue a solicitation for OMB Circular A-76 Commercial Activity Study CNRNW Aiefield Support Services. The intent of the study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing Airfield Support Services. The activities participating in this study are components of Commander, Navy Region Northwest (CNRN) There are approximately 79 Government Positions affected by this study. Services include the management, supervision, labor, and materials necessary to ensure the effective operation of the Airfield Support function. These support functions include administrative services, financial support, Aviation supply services, and organizational maintenance. This procurement will be a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, NAICS 336411, FSC R706, with a size standard of 1500 employees. The acquisition includes options. The base period of performance is from 01 July 2004- 30 SEP 2004, with four one (1) year option periods, and one nine (9) month option period. The place of performance is on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in the State of Washington. This procurement is not a FAR Part 12 acquisition. A technical proposal will be required. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. Facsimile proposals/quotes will not be accepted. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
