Description
This Sources Sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying potential Certified HUBZone sources to provide engineering, technical and maintenance support for various Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems deployed throughout the USCENTAF area of responsibility (AOR). The support shall include but not be limited to the following: preventative maintenance, site configuration management, operator training, spares inventory and maintenance; extensions of planned/unplanned visits due to operational needs of USCENTAF; 24 hour emergency support to include emergency maintenance trips; depot support to include storage capability, battery recharge, environmental conditioning, system rebuild/refurbishment; and installations and/or upgrades of UPS systems in Southwest Asia, and documentation of the above. Successful performance of this support will require the following in Southwest Asia: (1) Experience in performing operations and maintenance on the existing tactical and mobile power systems on US Air Force military installations in Southwest Asia; (2) Experience in installation and upgrading of UPS/Tactical Power Systems on US Air Force military installations in Southwest Asia; (3) Experience working with US military and knowledge of US Air Force requirements and procedures for UPS power systems; (4) Experience in obtaining Visa?s in Southwest Asia, shipping materials via commercially and MILAIR in both CONUS and OCONUS, and personnel transportation both commercially and military in Southwest Asia; and (5) Experience in performing depot support of UPS power systems and have a CONUS facility adequate for storing UPS power systems and depot materials. Minimum of a US Secret Clearance is required. A Firm Fixed Price Type contract with cost reimbursement provisions for travel and material is anticipated and will include a base year with 3 one-year option periods. Respondents should summarize their experience relative to each item above. Experience summaries should include (1) program name with associated dates; (2) identify your role as either the Prime or the Subcontractor; (3) Name and Address of firm, (4) Contract number, type, dollar value and customer point of contact with phone number/email address. Experience summaries should be no longer than four (4) pages in length.
