- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a Laser Engraving Machine. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F346MS32050100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333298, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for 1 ENGRAVING/MARKING SYSTEM, STARMARK 65 WATT, LASER MEDIMUM: ND: YAG CRYSTAL LAMP PUMPED, 1064NM, PULSE FREQUENCY: 300HZ - 30 PROGRAMMABLE, 0 HZ (CW) LASER VOLTAGE: 220 VAC, 3 PHASE, 50/60 HZ, FUSE 3X6A. INCLUDES: HEAT EXCHANGER P/N: 508-51206 AND LME SL-MANUAL CDRH CLASS I WORKSTATION P/N: LME-SLM. MODEL NUMBER SMP-65 OR EQUAL. INSTALLATION AND SET-UP, ON SITE. INCLUDES THREE DAYS OF SUPPORT BY MANUFACTURER'S FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. TRAVEL EXPENSES, INCLUDES AIRFARE, RENTAL CAR AND PER DEIM FOR ON-SITE INSTALLATION VISIT. These items are to be delivered FOB Destination to Eglin Air Force Base on or before 30-September-03.
