Description

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Eastern Administrative Support Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the New England Aquarium for follow-on services to assess right whale entanglement scarring and health for the National Marine Fisheries Service. The Aquarium will continue an extensive catalogue of individually identified right whales in the North Atlantic population. The statutory authority for this action is 41 USC 253(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 541720. This acquisition is below the simplified acquisition threshold of $100,000. No award will be made based on any responses to this announcement since this announcement is not a request for quotation.
