Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ? PUBLISHING THE FAIRCHILD CONNECTION The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested sources with experience relative to NAICS code 511110. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, fax, e-mail and website, if applicable; (2) a list of similar contracts your firm currently holds or has completed in the past three years. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, performance date, and Government point(s) of contact with phone and fax numbers. Please limit your responses to five pages. This information must be faxed to (509) 247-8685 or e-mailed to gwendolyn.mills@fairchild.af.mil by 22 Aug 2003. Work for this contract will include, but is not limited to, providing equipment, software, and support to facilitate the publishing of the Fairchild Connection on a weekly basis. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all advertising required to cover all costs associated with publishing the Fairchild Connection. The contractor shall be required to comply with Department of Defense Instruction 5120.4 and Air Force Instruction 35-101. The performance period will be for a basic one year period, with the opportunity for additional option periods of one or two years, total period of performance not to exceed ten years. The work is required in support of the 92 Public Affairs office. The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage on or about 1 October 2003. The solicitation package and any amendments will only be available electronically. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Once the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the website for updates/amendments. The closing date for the solicitation will be contained within the solicitation package. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor?s Registration database prior to award of the government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for award. When the solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the FedBizOpps website and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation separately from the response to this sources sought notice.
