Description

NA The United States Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to award a Five (5) year Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract for the procurement of an Alternator, Battery Charging, in accordance wi th Drawing Number 69-780, NSN: 2920-01-208-0804. The required drawings are available upon request. Please contact Eleanor Slocum at e-mail address: Eleanor.Slocum@mail1.monmouth.army.mil to request drawings. Items in the contract will be ordered by ind ividual delivery orders. Each delivery order will set forth all requirements, delivery schedule, shipping instructions and the applicable price. The contractor shall perform First Article Testing (FAT) and submit a FAT report in accordance with FAR 52.20 9-3 and the Statement of Work (SOW). The Government will provide the Test Procedure for the Alternator. The delivery schedule shall begin 120 days after contract award if First Article Test is waived. Early delivery at no extra cost to the Government is encouraged. The items will be shipped to the New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA. The shipments are to FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance FOB Source. Packaging and packing shall be in accordance with (IAW) Standard Practice for Commerci al Packaging. The Solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this buy is DAAB07-03-Q-D644. Also, the solicitation will be posted on the Interactive Opportunities Web Page (IBOP) on or about 22 August 2003. Please refer to the solicitation for any additional details. The U.S. Army CECOM has established the IBOP website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitations for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to Indu stry.
