Description

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Forecast International, Inc. for a subscription to Forecast International Market Libraries online. DCMA has a requirement for online, real-time access to a service providing a centralized point for long-range market intelligence and industry forecasts. The service shall provide market development forecasts and analysis on civilian and military aerospace, space, power, weapons sectors, ammo, combat vehicle, naval shipbuilding, electronics and defense systems worldwide. The service shall provide for information on specific systems such as funding, technical data, contract information, program history, outlook and analysis, long-range forecasts, forecast rationales, production timetables and worldwide distribution. The service shall be accessible 24 hours a day. Responses should reference DCMA01-03-T-0053. Interested parties have 5 business days from the date of publication of this synopsis to submit their qualifications - capabilities. Such qualifications - capabilities will be use solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis but set aside for small business. A determination by DCMA not to compete this proposed procurement on a competitive basis, based upon responses to this synopsis, is solely within the discretion of DCMA.
