Description

This notice is for informational purposes only. This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source purchase with Biostatistice & Epidemiology Consultant, 205 Maid Marion Lane, McMurray, PA 15317. This requisition is a consultation fee to provide NIOSH with epidemiologic data collection and analysis services for health hazard evaluation HETA 2001-0088, the Epidemiologic Study of former employees of the BIT Copper Smelter in Copperhill, Tennessee. Biostatistice & Epidemiology Consultant possesses the original personnel and exposure records and associated computer files, all of which are needed to conduct the update. The BIT copper smelter facility is no longer operating as a smelter and thus it is not possible for any researcher to visit the plant to become familiar with its operations. No solicitation document exists, however, all responses from vendors demonstrating their capabilities will be fully considered. This is a Simplified Acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00.
