- Description
- The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico, with the co-sponsorship of the Air Force Research Laboratory, will host their seventeenth annual BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY on August 12 and 13, 2003 at the Albuquerque Marriott Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During this comprehensive two-day event, the participating government agencies will describe their program objectives, discuss emerging technologies, and identify contracting opportunities to the audience of current and prospective contractors. Presentations and new business topics will include: research and development; test and evaluation; technical and analytical support; operations and maintenance; systems procurement; and facilities construction. Organizations invited to participate include: Air Force Research Laboratory (all directorates); Space and Missile Systems Center/Detachment 12; Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC); Air Force Small Business Office; 46th Test Group; Theater Aerospace Command and Control Simulation Facility; White Sands Missile Range; Sandia National Laboratories; High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office; State of New Mexico Office for Space Commercialization; and State of New Mexico Economic Development Department. Distinguished guest speakers including Heather Wilson, U.S. House of Representatives, Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish, and a senior DoD official are planned.
