Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Northrup Grumman, 1580 A West Nursery Road; Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide preventive and remedial maintenance (PM/RM) for OC-ALC/MASK?s E-3A AISF Special Test Equipment and E-3 Radar Set in B/3220 at Tinker AFB, OK. The period of performance will be a base year and four (4) one-year options to commence on 01 OCT 03 and complete on 30 SEP 08. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 30 SEP 03. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
