Description
Provide a complete live fish pump system with the following minimum capabilities: 1. System must be complete and ready to run (includes everything needed to pump fish from a raceway onto a distribution truck, all pumps, motors, hoses, fittings, pipes, dewatering devices, trailers or carts, electronics, electrical cords & plugs, valves etc.). 2. System must be portable and fit through an 8' wide x 10' high overhead door (the complete system must be mounted on a trailer or cart that can be moved to various sites within the cold water culture building for use). 3. System must be powered by an electric motor (60 Amp, 250 Volt, 3 phase motor with a male plug to fit a 4 wire pin and sleeve receptacle with gasket cover(HUBBEL # 460 R9W) with 30 feet of power cable. 4. System must be capable of pumping fish as large as 2 lbs & 15 inches long. 5. System must be able to deliver fish to a 9' high distribution trailer from the dewatering device (ceiling in the culture building is 15' high). 6. System must be able to operate in a non-submerged mode (any additional hoses, foot valves, and the necessary fittings to do this must be included with the system). 7. System must be able to operate in both an automatic and manual mode. 8. Payment will be processed upon successful demonstration and operation of the live fish pump by the supplier at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery, Riverdale, North Dakota, within two weeks after delivery. Delivery date is 60 calendar days. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 19, 2003, with a closing date of on or about September 4, 2003. The RFQ will be available through the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Parties accessing the RFQ through the GPE are to submit their quote through the GPE. Parties that are unable to access the GPE, shall fax a request for the RFQ to 303-236-4791, Attention: John D. Peters. Please include the RFQ number, your company name, address, telephone number, contact name, and fax number. Note 1.
