Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD has a SOLE SOURCE requirement for the purchase of the following avionics components: (20) A01 MOD T700, part number 169D4549G01, (20) A02 MOD T700, part number 7116M46G05, (20) A07 MOD T700, part number 7128M13G08, and (20) E1 Filter Conn, part number 7116M67G01. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis, firm fixed price type order against BOA Number N00383-01-G-008A with BAE Systems Controls, P.O. Box 2232, Fort Wayne, IN 46801-2232. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Basic Ordering Agreements, Part 16 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Procurement will be made via a DPAS DX-A1 rated government purchase order, which will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect to date from Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336412 and the applicable FSC code is J016. Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with BAE Systems Controls, Inc. should be submitted no later than 20 August 2003 via email to Ms. LeStancia N. Spaght at SpaghtLN@navair.navy.mil. Electronic inquiries and responses shall include company name, single point of contact, telephone number, complete address, and company business size. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.? See Numbered Note 22.
