- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, intends to issue a Solicitation for Engineering, Technical and Logistics Services to support hull, mechanical, electrical and electronic ship systems alteration programs for the Pacific and Atlantic fleet. This is a follow-on effort to contract numbers N65540-01-D-0026 (incumbent Q.E.D. Systems, Incorporated) and N65540-01-D-0025 (incumbent AMSEC LLC). The Solicitation is expected to result in one or more indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee type contract(s) providing for the issuance of delivery orders during a five year period starting on the date of contract award. An estimated total of 2,478,840 hours of direct labor are expected to be required in the performance of the contract(s). Offerors will be required to submit technical and costs proposals. Award will be made to the offeror(s) with proposal (s) representing the best value to the Government. The Solicitation is expected to be released on or about 29-August-2003 and to close on or about 01-October-2003. Solicitation packages will only be available electronically and no hard copies will be sent. The NAICS for this work is 541330. This procurement will be unrestricted. All interested parties may download the solicitation and any amendments at http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www.fedbizopps.gov after the release date of the Solicitation.
