- Description
- A Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) was entered into between the Navy and Raytheon Electronic Warfare Systems, 6380 Hollister Ave., Goleta, CA, 93117 on 6August 2001 for a maximum amount of $9M. The BOA has a three year ordering period from 6 August 2001 through 6 August 2004. The BOA supports the AN/SLQ-32(V)2 Countermeasure System. The BOA includes hardware, technical support, failure analysis, drawings and documentation, depot support services, field engineering services, repairs, system improvements and modifications. Orders are issued to Raytheon on a sole source basis Raytheon under the authority of Class J&A No.01-010. This J&A documents the proprietary of the test procedures, data and how all repairs must integrate back into the original system. Over the past year purchases of unique hardware, engineering support task and repairs unique to the AN/SLQ32 have been proc ured. It is anticipated that work under the BOA for the ensuing 12 months will include similar type work. Periodic reviews and synopsis of the BOA will be performed by this activity. Notes 22 and 26 apply, all responsible sources may inquire into the specific terms and conditions included in the BOA; such inquires will be considered by this agency.
